About Us |
Hayarkon 48 Hostel was opened in November 1998 by Omri and Dotan; 2 cousins who traveled extensively around the world and made the hostel to be exactly what backpackers need!
That is why Hayarkon 48 is a clean place with great hot showers 24 hours a day, the kitchen is fully equipped for guests on a budget and the comfortable lounge is used for watching TV on wide screen...and meeting people from around the world. Hayarkon 48 staff is made up from friendly young English speaking Israelis, who are always happy to help you with your travel information and to ensure that Hayarkon 48 is your home away from home!

Directions |
From the Airport: Take the train heading north to the first station in Tel Aviv, 'HaHagana', cross the street and take bus no. 16 to the corner of Allenby and Hayarkon st.
At night take a taxi from the airport and ask to put on the meter.
Also, there are trains running from the airport once every hour to the Tel Aviv Train Central Station, from there you can take a taxi to the hostel which should cost about 35 shekels.

From Tel-Aviv central bus station: bus 16, 30 or 31 from Levinsky Street: get of at The Opera Tower .
Bus No.4 from the 4th floor inside the bus station: get of at the first stop on Ben-Yehuda St.
From Tel-Aviv central railway station (Arlozorov): Bus No. 10 get off at the opera tower.
