Shkedi’s CampLodge is located south of the Dead Sea, and is ideal for hosting backpackers, families and small groups. We offer private air-conditioned wooden cabins and large stylish bungalows (dorms & private). You are bound to have a unique experience in a place that cherishes and compliments nature and the beautiful atmosphere of the desert.

In our campground you will also find clean, roomy and well designed toilets & washrooms (with hot showers), several barbeque grills, seating & dining areas under the acacia trees and an equipped kitchen with a cooking stove and refrigerators for storing your food and drink. At the end of a full traveling day, you can have a cup of tea by the central bonfire, or enjoy a cold beer in our desert bar. Free WiFi is available within the camplodge as well.

If you don’t want to prepare your own meals you can dine in one of the small restaurants in our village, located 2 minutes walk from the camplodge.

The camplodge is open from September-June and is located 20 minutes from the Dead-Sea shoreline (by car).

From Jerusalem take Egged bus no. 444 heading to Eilat, and get off at ‘Kikar Sdom’ junction. From Tel-Aviv catch Egged bus no. 393/394 heading to Eilat and get off at ‘Arava’ junction. If you arrive by train, then get off in Beer-Sheva and from there take Egged route 393/394 to Arava junction.

If you need a pickup from Arava/Kikar Sdom junction call us ahead and let us know your arrival time.

From Tel-Aviv drive south heading to Beer-Sheva. At Goral junction take a left turn towards Dimona and follow the road signs leading there. Drive past Dimona on route no. 25 all the way down to Arava junction. Keep straight to the next junction and turn right to Neot Hakikar. After passing the gate (call us to open it for you) drive straight at the circle, and enter the yellow gate of Neot Hakikar. Take a left turn towards the tennis courts, and right after it you’ll see the camplodge to your left.

From Jerusalem drive towards the Dead Sea (route no.1) after Almog junction the road turns right on route no. 90. At Zohar junction take a left turn towards Eilat. 15 minutes later you’ll pass the Dead Sea Works, and in the next junction take a left turn to Neot Hakikar.
